Optiphen Plus performs best in formulations below 6.0 pH, but is also proven effective at pH levels above 6.0. Compatible with most raw materials. Use: Can be added directly to the formulation during pre- or post-emulsification at or below 60°C (140°F). For the preservation of simple surfactant products a dose of 0.5% might be sufficient. This product preserves water and oil based products.
TIPS: The recommended usage rates are provided only as a guideline to provide proper preservation. Adding at end of emulsion when product is coolest gives best results. All new formulations should be tested to ensure preservative efficacy.
